About Andrea
Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Andrea is a trained professional musical theatre actress based in Northern California.
Regional theatre credits have included shows at Sacramento Theatre Company, 42nd Street Moon and the American Musical Theatre of San Jose. She has had the pleasure of performing alongside Adrian Zmed, Dirk Lumbard, and Rachel DeBenedet regionally and Arielle Jacobs and Tony winner James Monroe Iglehart before they were stars!
On camera, Andrea has been seen in episodes of the hit webseries "Smosh" and has been in several local independent films and industrials. Film is definitely an area that intrigues Andrea and she hopes to gain more experience in the future!
Andrea received her BA in Theatre Arts from San Jose State University and is an alumnus of NYU/CAP21's Summer Professional Intensive. She has had the pleasure of studying under the likes of such knowledgeable and passionate teachers such as Amy Glazer, Bobby Cronin, Aimee Francis, Kate Guyton Morgens, Ed Hooks, Julian Lopez-Murrillas, Tony Stevens and Michael Raine. She is also an award-winning dance teacher, director and choreographer.
A goofball that likes to work hard, Andrea found her way into performing after being diagnosed as a baby with Juvenile Rhuematoid Arthritis. She is now a passionate advocate of the autoimmune disease and credits it for blessing her with the opportunity to use dance as a way to keep the pains of the disease at bay.
